Launch of the new NEBC.

Newtown Enmore Business Chamber - a catalyst for positive change

On Wednesday, March 27th, the local business community came together at the newly opened Pleasure Club to inaugurate a new chapter of collaboration and growth. The launch event, marked by enthusiasm and optimism, heralded the dawn of a vibrant era for businesses in the area, showcasing the power of unity and shared purpose. We had business representation from Enmore, Newtown, Ersineville and Camperdown come to hear from us.

The atmosphere at Pleasure Club was positive as entrepreneurs, business owners, bureaucrats, and community leaders gathered to celebrate the birth of NEBC. The venue pulsated with the energy of individuals committed to fostering a thriving economic landscape and nurturing a sense of belonging among residents and businesses alike.

As business owners mingled and exchanged ideas, it became evident that NEBC was more than just a network—it was a catalyst for positive change. It symbolised a collective resolve to overcome challenges, embrace diversity, and create opportunities for growth and prosperity.

Against the backdrop of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a shared sentiment of resilience and determination to emerge stronger together. The past years have tested our community in unprecedented ways, but as we stand on the threshold of recovery, NEBC represents a beacon of renewal.

As we look to the future, the momentum generated by the launch of NEBC propels us forward with optimism and determination. Our next milestone, the Annual General Meeting scheduled for September, will serve as a pivotal moment to reflect on our progress, set new goals, and chart the course for the journey ahead. Additionally, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our program of events, designed to foster networking, skill-building, and collaboration within the precinct.
